On December 15, 2024 Chapter Reporter Brother Ralph Williams was diagnosed with T-Cell lymphoma. It’s a type of cancer that originates in the T-cell, a type of white blood cell that plays a crucial role in the immune system. He immediately started chemotherapy; six rounds. Although he temporarily lost his hair, 25 lbs, and his appetite, praying to Allah, he is on the road to a full recovery! Brother Williams thanks all of his family and friends for their support through this period of his life. He also gave a special shoutout to his Kappa brothers, particularly Washington Alumni, who
kept him strong through laughter, positive energy and good will. So at our last chapter meeting of the year, Brother Ralph Williams rang the bell to signify being cancer free. Yo to the Nupes.

The brothers of the Washington (DC) Alumni of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc had a great time supporting @akaxiomega during their Jubilee Juneteenth Day Party. All proceeds went to their scholarship program. You know the Pretty Boys Nupes love those sophisticated ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha. A great time was had by all.

The DC Nupes, family, and friends all had an amazing time at our annual Father’s Day Picnic. No one does a Father’s Day picnic quite like the Flagship chapter. We would like to thank everyone who played a role in making it happen. The cookout competition was fierce this year, so we want to acknowledge our winner Brother @ddsnupe for his amazing dish. Please come out next year as this event is more than just a Father’s Day picnic - it’s a Family Affair.
